Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions about Branova Inventory. Still stuck? Email our team.

Can I manage multiple warehouses or locations?
Yes. Branova Inventory lets you track stock separately for every warehouse, store or location you operate. You can see quantities on hand per location and move goods between them with stock transfers, so your figures stay accurate no matter where items are held.
How is stock valued (FIFO or weighted average)?
Branova Inventory supports standard valuation methods such as weighted average and FIFO. This means the value of your stock on hand and the cost of goods sold (COGS) are calculated consistently, so your reports and margins reflect what you actually paid.
Can I raise and track purchase orders?
Yes. You can create purchase orders to your suppliers and send them directly. When goods arrive, you receive them against the PO — either in full or partially — and stock levels update automatically. This keeps your on-hand quantities and outstanding orders in sync at all times.
Do I get low-stock alerts and reorder points?
Yes. You can set a reorder level for each item so you are alerted the moment stock falls below it. Branova Inventory highlights low-stock items and can suggest what to reorder, helping you avoid stockouts without holding excess inventory.
Does it support barcodes and SKUs?
Yes. Every item can have its own SKU and barcode for fast, error-free lookup. You can scan barcodes to find products, add them to orders and run stocktakes quickly, which speeds up day-to-day operations and reduces mistakes.
How do stock adjustments and transfers work?
You can record stock adjustments for damage, loss or corrections, enter opening stock when you start, and move goods between warehouses with inter-warehouse transfers. Every change is captured with an audit trail, so you always know what changed, when and why.
Can I track batches and expiry dates?
Yes. Branova Inventory supports batch and lot tracking with expiry dates. This lets you sell your oldest or soonest-to-expire stock first, keep tabs on shelf life, and stay on top of items that need to move before they lapse.
Is there a free plan and what does it cost?
Yes. There is a free tier so you can get started at no cost, with paid plans priced in ₹ as you grow. There are no long-term lock-ins — you can cancel anytime. See pricing.html for the current plans and limits.
What reports are available?
Branova Inventory includes stock summary, valuation, stock movement/ledger, low-stock, purchase and supplier reports. You can export reports to CSV to analyse them further in a spreadsheet or share them with your accountant.
What is the Branova Business Suite?
Branova Business Suite is a family of connected business apps — CRM, Invoice, Helpdesk, Inventory, Booking, HRMS, AMC, Projects, Forms and Discover — that share one Branova account and a single, consistent design. You sign in once at apps.branova.in and open any app you've subscribed to. Each app is a complete product on its own, so you can use just Branova Inventory or run your whole business on the suite.
If I use another Branova app, is my data shared automatically?
No. Each Branova app has its own separate database, so the business data you create in Branova Inventory stays inside Branova Inventory. You sign in once with a single Branova account (single sign-on), but signing in never copies or merges data between apps. Data moves between apps only if you deliberately export it or set up a specific integration yourself.
